No Trivum, no problem. So this is the end of the road for both Maiden and myself. The last date of the A Matter Of Life And Death 2006 Tour and Dave Murrays birthday.

I’m in London, on a Saturday, the day before Christmas Eve and I’m the only loser left in the flat because of my little obsession, but it’s been worth it so far lets see what Eddie and the boys whip out one last time.

Well they’ve had months of practise with the set, a previous night in this venue and a pretty much up for it crowd and no one disappoints anyone. The set is delivered flawlessly, Bruce is still running around like a man half my age, let alone his. Even the tank appearance during Iron Maiden is still goose bump worthy. This was an amazing show and I felt a twinge of pride and sadness when Bruce announces “That was A Matter Of Life And Death in its entirety for the last time ever”. I walked away with another huge grin from the show. Now just to see what muddy field they play next year 🙂 then onto the 2008 Live After Death tour 😀 which is my favourite live album and recorded on the tour for my favourite album Powerslave.
