The Frames 3 times in 4 months or something? Am I sick of ’em? Not a bit of it.
Tonight is their first London gig, AFAIK, since the UK release of The Cost so it was interesting the slightly different reaction to new songs(loads more singing). There was also more paddys this time I’m sure.
Actually considering the nature of the NYE gig, this was a lot more self indulgent, they finished at 11, finished with a Will Oldham song and new album was featured more heavily but it was still good.
This was the 8th time I’ve seen them altogether and I think I need a rest after this one. Summer will be soon enough for me to be honest just hope Kila play this year. They did last year but I missed it some how!!!

saw them in opera house in belfast for the first time in 15 years. thought they were exellent. glad to hear they don’t use deaf bass players anymore. that’s why i stopped going. i was goin’ deaf!
I wear ear plugs now (only like £7 and work great), I’m pretty sure my hearing has already a bit fecked.
