From a Gig Review post:

Support:
Strawberry Blondes
Victory Pill

I missed Strawberry Blondes, wasn’t pushed but did want to check out Victory Pill. They have Jim Davies who used to be in Pitchshifter and The Prodigy(live guitarist) so thought they’d be worth checking out. And other than the ridiculous volume of their gear, I could barely hear the vocals and the drums/beats were just too loud, poor sound engineer. The songs were quite good some catchy parts but some did sound a little like Pitchshifter (not too surprisingly as he was the guitarist). I may check them out on MySpace or pick up the album which is out on the 1st of October.

Skindred were on pretty quick after them and played with the usual energy and with the same schtick. Benji stopping tracks lots of egging on of the audience, but the attitude didn’t settle with me this time. In between tracks he mentioned not playing "some of these songs again" look I’m all for progression but FFS this is a pretty rocking album which they released 3 times and is the reason for their popularity, new stuff sounds good but ditching the old? Hmm we’ll see. They played tight as usual but I think they pissed off a lot of the crowd when they walked off stage at 10pm and didn’t come back. I left with the crowd, fun gig, will pick up album but it better be good to see me back at a show.

Later Days,
Halo.
