Last Comet From Nothingness

So I got a pre-sale link for Queens Of The Stone Age so picked up tickets for London and Reading 😀 Very happy. Off to Skindred later this evening with support from Victory Pill (featuring members of Pitchshifter and Prodigy) it’s their only UK date before a full US tour so they should be well up for it.

In other news I’m trying to volunteer at The Masque Of The Red Death at BAC as it is meant to be amazing, I love BAC and Sarah does that type of thing all the time at home so it’s my turn now. I actually hope to see the play as it is meant to be stunning.

I learned a valuable lesson today, I have a great Pitchshifter T-shirt which declares "Fuck All Boy Bands" on the front, I don’t usually wear it to work (read never) but today I pulled it out and thought it was my Pennywise t-shirt of the same colour(it’s a strange purple/wine colour) and threw it on. Never again not because it caused havoc, anarchy and confusion but because it highly amused certain members of the group as to whether it was a command or a statement. Anyway lesson learned, no ambiguous t-shirts to be worn to work.

Actually before I forget we went to a Film Festival last weekend, before Sarah left, the Canary Wharf Film Festival which included "What Have You Done Today Mervyn Day" about the Lower Lea Valley in London set on July 7th 2005 as London celebrates the Olympic bid win and the bombs go off, but it’s not about that but is all about that. It was made with St Etienne and is well worth a viewing. We also saw lots of shorts which were great but the best was easily "Cheat Neutral" which needs to be seen (can be seen at the link).

Flying along with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and also using More Brain Training, keeping my age between about 22 and 26 at the mo :-). So I’m outta here off to have some food and onto Kings Cross for the ‘Dred.

Later Days,
Halo.
