Dignity Stripper

So guess who is playing London in November. Yeah Queens Of The Stone Age in Brixton Academy, tix on sale on Friday so mouse button fingers at the ready. I’ve got Skindred the night before but I think QOTSA are worth getting out of bed early enough so I can use a nice fast internet connection.

The Sex Pistols are apparently playing Brixton too, but I aint seen when tickets go on sale. I’m not their biggest fan but they are The Sex Pistols so I should go. Unfortunately I missed out on tickets for every single UK date on the upcoming Foo Fighters tour and two of them are in the O2 for God’s sake.

So i’ve survived my first night sans Sarah and cooked a mighty fine curry last night, if I do say so myself, which I just finished with Rich’s help. I had a quick play of Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, I’m quite close to finished actually, looking forward to starting a new one again.

I got myself one of the limited edition DS Lites which is red and black when in Canada and I’ve been playing mostly Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (for the GBA) on it, hopefully I’ll be finished it by the time Legend Of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass is released for the DS. And despite having 4 different FULL Zelda games lined up for the Wii I am very interested in the new Super Mario RPG(a sequel of sorts of Superstar Saga) Super Paper Mario. Also want to get Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door for the Gamecube, Mario RPG(SNES but should come out on Virtual Console in Europe) and Paper Mario (N64, if I get my N64 over here I will try to get the original cartridge). And before that even happens I’ll have to get Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii.

Work has quietened down(could it get busier?) and now just organising our trip to Budapest, an event in QMUL and thinking about doing an LHC themed event with the IoP and Queen Mary’s Physics School liaison officer. I got my random photos up from the trips, not as many as usual, just wasn’t in the mood mostly but there are some interesting ones though.

Well I’m gone again, I will be blogging a bit more I think, but we’ll see, no promises.

Later days,
Halo.

  1. I got Super Paper Mario for the Wii, and it’s damn good, although have a few very long cut scenes which drag a bit…
