Ha ha knew I’d post again this week. My life is exciting as hell at the moment … OK maybe not but I do have a ton of great gigs coming up (the best being Raging Speedhorn on Saturday).
One thing I am proud of is I eventually found out that my email provider (Smileglobal) actually do give me IMAP access so I spent last night transferring all me emails up to their servers so now I have access to all my email anywhere in the world (provided I have an internet connection and computer). I diverted my DCU, mackers and another address to my main address and stored those mails on the server too. I have made all the mailboxes available offline so I will have a back up if something goes wrong but since I pay for this service something better not.

I’m probably back off to CERN next month to meet the guys working on LHC@home which is coming to the UK (and Queen Mary where I work specifically). It is a BOINC application which like SETI@home or climateprediction.net scavenges CPU power on your home computer when you’re not using it. I will be doing basic tech support and I believe keeping an eye on the user forums and stuff so should be fun. Now that website they’re using looks ugly ….
