Just Another Manic …. Thursday

Well wasn’t in work till 12:30 today cause of late night shopping hours so I had enough time to do some things first. Went to the Sentinel shop in Temple bar to have a gander and pick up some local stuff. Got the aforementioned Scald and Steel Tormentor CDs. As I have my IHP140 MP3 Player I couldn’t give them a spin. With being in girlfriends’ house tomorrow, drinks for Sean’s leaving the country Saturday and GreenDay Monday I won’t get a chance to rip them till maybe Sunday or Tuesday. It’s going to be Tuesday, ah well.
After Sentinel popped into the jewellers that I got one of my girlfriend’s Xmas presents from. The clasp is bust on it so had to drop it into be repaired. Twas easy and hassle free, have to collect it Monday.
On the way into work I pass Zerep, a shoe shop on Grafton street. I headed in and tried on some New Rock cowboy boots (different to the below ones). They were nice and a better price, ?Äö?Ñ????°¬¨¬Æ110. May pick them up soon.
Work was busy; our divisional manager is coming for a store visit tomorrow so just ensuring every little thing was as it should be. I think our floor at least looks well and not just because of the visit. We’ve gotten really organised since Xmas so it wasn’t much fuss.
Also when I got in I was treated to the CDs that Dave and Ken promised. I now have a copy of Coldwar’s album and a CD of one Puffy Amiyumi track and 15 Judas Priest tracks. Then Martin, the drummer from said Coldwar, pointed out a new promo we got a few copies of, namely Death Angel‘s Archives & Artifacts. 3 CDs and 1 DVD in the set, snagged myself a copy and got it signed out along with the David Kitt promo of Square One I’ve had in my locker for ages. Again these aint going to see this side of a ripping program till probably Tuesday. As you can see it was a CD filled day today so I’m happy. In work again in the morning, never been around for a “visit” should be fun, may put my labret spacer in though. I do like Shaun our manager and he’ll take a lot of grief if she (divisional manager) sees my labret.
