OK I’m not sure what support I saw and to paraphrase “Frankly I don’t give a damn”. It was wired DJ shit which I should be into but this stuff was meh.
So I wasn’t very sure what to expect tonight I’ve seen “Alec Empire” before but it involved drums, guitar and bass and I thought that was what I was getting again. Thinking about it a full band based in Germany coming over for one date in Dublin over the Xmas period is unlikely so yeah it was a DJ set from the menace that created DHR and Atari Teenage Riot.
I went along with Kenwood Kettle and Philip and Ken and I were very impressed, it’s more Philip’s thing so he definitely enjoyed it. He just dropped tunes from various DHR artists, ATR, his solo stuff and about 5 songs in Disciple by Slayer which had got the devil horns from Ken and I.
I’ll be back to see this guys DJ set but hopefully not before I see a full band set up.
