I’m tired…

Well I got home Sunday night/Saturday morning at 5:30am and got into work on time so I’m a little weary. In case you weren’t paying attention I was at Nine Inch Nails in B’ham Sunday night. The problem was that there are no late night buses back to London on Sundays, unlike the other 6 days. So I could wait for a direct one at 3am, get a hostel and get a direct one at 5:30am OR get a bus to Stansted at 1am , then get a coach from Stansted at ~4am to Stratford (in the East End) and get a 24 hour bus back to my house from there. For anyone with a modicum of maths I took the last option which, as I said, got me into bed at 5:30am.

It was a great gig and I’ll do up a review soon but I’m not sure it was worth the trip seeing how they are playing 4 dates here in London, but it’s done now and I got to meet Tom (Diluted) off the RSH board so that was cool.

I saw this on B@W it’s genius, like economics for the terminally pessimistic.

So later, if I can keep my eyes open I am going to see if I can get FreeNAS to work on one of the PC husks in the flat but not too hopeful as I will be asleep. In theory it will allow me to setup the file server for the flat quite easily but we’ll see.

I stumbled upon this comic and I think it makes my head hurt but my face smile. xkcd. It’s almost self indulgent and with no audience, continuity, narrative, anything, but I like it reminds me of Cat & Girl

This is genius, just funny as hell and the writer knows Jonathan Nash and Stuart Campbell of Amiga Power fame(in my world, I’m sure they have bigger claims to fame but that’s how I know ’em). There is even a discussion of a court case involving this site which almost mirrors what they had gone through previously with AP2.
