Alright, just a short ‘un today. Did Scottish Football Association today i.e. SFA, Sweet Fuck All. The link up of my PC and Turntable is working so I can record its output. Just trying to get my head around how to reduce the hiss. So far, so crap, Grr. I did get one vinyl track as an MP3 though; Seasons Wither by Machinehead. I think it’s OK but the headphone test tomorrow will sort the men from the boys. I fear it will fare poorly :-/.
Anyway there are some job links from New Scientist in my email I only just got so I’ll look at them tomorrow in Sarah’s. Also pseudo-planning a two week (16 days to be exact) trip to Germany this week using an Interrail pass, I like how it’s shaping up to be honest. After consultation with the better half I may post the skeleton of the trip tomorrow. It may not be too expensive either, hopefully.

You need something like soundforge or cool edit to really remove hiss, that is provided you’ve got the proper riaa preamp on your turntable.
As for germany, make is spain and portugal, that’s where me and jess are heading in July! :p
