You may look away but your children will not

So I’m back home at the moment after a busy few weeks. I mean I’ve been in Bulgaria, France and Ireland with work already and it’s only turned to March. Also I’ve had a good run of gigs (see last set of posts) which were mostly good (damn you Corgan *shakes fist*). Funny thing is now that I’m in Ireland, Sarah’s bogged off to Amsterdam with college, but she’ll be back before I return to Lahdahn Tahn,

I got my Cineworld card sorted out and I’ve already seen 6 or so flicks for my first £11.99 (they’re usually £7.60 a pop). They were mostly meh but Be Kind Rewind was brilliant and Underdog was actually quite funny.

This week I also bought the new Nine Inch Nails album Ghosts I-IV, more a set of 4 9 track EPs; Ghosts 1 to 4. Trent’s done a Radiohead and you could get Ghosts 1 as a free download(MP3, FLAC or AAC), Ghosts I-IV as a a download only at $5, the 2CD set with the download for $10, a deluxe set at $75 and finally a $300 dollar (limited to 2500 pieces and now sold out, that’s $750,000 maths fans). I went for the 2CD set so been listening to it since while waiting for the CDs to turn up (start of April). It’s an amazing collection of soundscapes (all instrumental) and he’s mentioned another album before 2008 is out which will hopefully take this line as well.

The new Presidents of the USA album is out this week which I’ll pick up tomorrow along with the new Celtic Legacy and maybe some other local stuff in Sentinel (well not the PUSA CD). I’m over for work this week so I’ll be in Trinity for most of the week and drinking in the Porterhouse so pop in :-). I’ve already been hanging out with Sean, Andrea, Lyndsey and Rich (yes my flatmate he was over for the rugby).

You should be worried when: You help your mother buy an eeePC. There was a running joke (apparently) around here that mum was getting an iPhone and she is the only one who still uses the desktop POS upstairs. So I mentioned the eeePC to her and dad and they liked the sound of it so we bought one on eBay for her. I really can’t wait to play with it :-).

I’ve signed up for Passively Multiplayer Online Game seems interesting enough (gain points by just surfing as usual and there are missions to do if you want) and I have two invites a week I think so if anyone is interested drop a comment.

Later days,
Halo.
