Strange day today. Blew off work for a sort of pre interview for *gasp* a job. The proper interview is on Monday but I’ll give no more info don’t want to jinx it.
Anyway back to Di(ck)anno. To start the support acts varied from good (Involution, poor sound I think was a problem) to just fucking brilliant (Scavenger). Scavenger know how to do METAL!!!! (said in a high pitched screech). Old school metal and it rocked. Now Mr D’ianno … well the band were tight as fuck and the Maiden stuff sounded like it was Steve and the boys playing up there. The problem was the waste of a human life D’ianno. He was obnoxious, rude and so up himself it was unbelievable. The guy hasn’t released anything of note in 25 YEARS. Has anyone mentioned that to him? The post Maiden stuff was passable and their writer an asshole, thankfully the tunes from those albums he sung on oh so long ago rocked so hard. The first song of the encore was Transylvania, not too strange maybe BUT it’s an instrumental piece. He didn’t sing on it they may have well played Man On The Edge!!!! Rant over but it was an enjoyable enough show but I’ll think twice about giving that “man” any more of my money.
Also for those in a hole for the last 2 days Slayer have confirmed a show in the Ambassador in June with Mastodon supporting, tickets on sale today and probably sold out tomorrow.
Picked up some new rock cowboy ankle boots in Zerep today for ?Äö?Ñ????°¬¨¬Æ90 pretty nice. They work well with my suit. Other than that I have no more news I’m sure. Ah well if I do I’ll post again.
