We’ve been down in Devon, Ilfracombe to be exact, to see Bill Bailey. It was brilliant. The show was great (similar to SteamPunk from last year) and the weather was fantastic for hanging out and checking out the countryside (see photos here I still have to add better tags and titles but just had to get them up).
We also got to see Caffeine play in Islington, which was fun and Sarah hasn’t seen them since 1999!!
The wedding in Cambridge was brilliant craic. Two of the people from Queen Mary were getting hitched so they invited Sarah and I along and it was a great day out in a very picturesque town.
I’m going back in time slowly here, as the week before the wedding we headed to Leicester to see Aoife, Leo and their little ‘un Erin. It was great to see them again and I have to head up again before Xmas.
My trip to York for work was fun, Sarah had the day off so came with me. I got the work bit done with (checking out the venue of the stand we’ll have there in September) and did a brewery tour, checked out the Minster and city walls and met up with my aunt and cousin who live up there.
Other than my trips around the country Al was around for the Great British Beer Festival in Earl’s Court and just to hang out with, we didn’t do much but drink and waffle really but it was good pto see him.
In work I’m just finishing off some prep work for the next four meetings/conferences in the Lake District, Victoria(Canada), York and Nottingham so busy, busy. Also LHC@home is moving along with hopefully some news very soon for our “eager” volunteers.
Hanging out with Siobhan tonight, yay.
