It’s a Toosday :-), Not sure why I’m smiling cause it’s Tuesday but sure it ends in a Y so it’s all good :-D.

Ah well on to maybe less mundane things. Yesterday I was getting bored with my entire music collection (I carry it around on my H140) when I stumbled upon a gem I aint listened to in ages as a “friend” had it (you know who you are Alex). It was Mundy’s 24 Star Hotel, just one man, a guitar and some noises. A sorbet for the musical palette. Listened to it on the way home on the bus, it is fantastically upbeat and melancholic at the same time. My faith in music was restored. So today I’ve been just been listening to blindingly brutal(as in heavy) music. Madman Is Absolute, 3 inches Of Blood, Co-Exist and Raging Speedhorn, I think tomorrow will be Stampin’ Ground :twisted:.
Have I mentioned the Alchemist Cafe recently? I think not check us out www.alchemistcafe.cjb.net we have another cafe coming up on the 14th of july and it’s on Proteomics … OK I’ll admit I don’t know what they are. It involves using proteins as opposed to genes to cure disease it will be a good one. We’ve actually got August(a food related topic), September(The Promise and Reality of Biotechnology), October(nanotechnology) and November(still in the negotiation stages but will be Physics related) lined up with details to be finalised. September will be a big one it, it’s during BA Science Festival which this year is in Dublin. So come on I know people who read this live in Dublin come along and check out some science in the pub.
Oh yeah we had a directors visit in work last week and our divisional manager (a woman I’ve never said a thing to in my life) asked for my by fucking reputation. I F***ing rock this woman is my boss’s boss’s boss’s boss and she knows my name and my work rate(well the one I let them believe I have remember “Get the name of an early riser and you can sleep all day”).
