First real day. Setting everything up:
Staff ID? Check.
Pension Scheme? Check.
Desktop PC which does what I need it to? Check.
Laptop that also does what I need it to? Check.
Email a/c? Check.
Email a/c that works 100%? Not yet, damn sent folder doesn’t work, bloody IMAP server.
Skype installed on desktop? Check.
Skype installed on laptop? Check but the microphone doesn’t work for some reason.

Off to Abingdon later for that conference. Get shown around tomorrow by two different people in Rutherford Appleton Laboratory which is where the conference actually is. I’ve to take photos etc… Should be fun, got to remember reciepts though, food, coffee, travel et al is paid for!
