Come Out Fighting

So I went to Punk Science last night they were doing a science news roundup in a comedic style. I really liked it, it was in the Dana centre, which is a cafe style space for these types of science meets arts events. It is really nice, Alex was involved in the organisation of it along with the feeding of the guys the news for the last week or two. I was chatting to Brad afterwards who is one of the “Punk Scientists”, I’ve met them all before in Edinburgh, he’s a nice guy.

Remember those brownies I made? I ate all of them :-(, OK not ALL, I gave Alex and Shonagh two each and Matt and Rich got one each but other than that I pigged out. I will make more, I just need measuring spoons to do it right 75ml and 30ml is hard to measure in a jug with 100ml as the smallest graduation.

Eventually got Sarah her Viking Skull ticket, her first show in London on her first night :-D. While there I decided to get some tickets for the 2nd Eels night in Astoria June 27th, no such thing as too much of a good thing!

Today at about 10am was a little fraught though. Dang those Fighters of Foo and their tiny acoustic show in the Victoria Apollo 8). I screwed up like twice throwing away tickets due to hitting the wrong button (yes I am a muppet) so when I eventually got one sitting up in the circle I grabbed it and held on like a bitch but in the end Ticketbastard were able to give me two standing tickets so I now have a spare seated ticket any takers? I know Al can’t go so just leave a comment. I will be nowhere near this seat(which could be a plus for some :-)) and you could end beside a freak or the hottest babe at the show!

Look I know the Dutch are liberal but a political party for paedophiles? They want to lower the age of consent to 12, legalise child porn and beastiality. I wish this was a joke, 12? seriously folks?

I actually tidied up my room and washed some clothes preparing for the imminent arrival of she who nags 😀 (only kidding Boo, ya know I love ya) so I have been avoiding Flight Of The Amazon Queen or I’ll get nothing done ever. I did try to download a Bit Tiorrent of Monkey Island 1 & 2 for ScummVM but it turned out to be just the music, cack.

Al‘s in hospital, not for the reason you think it’s actually for his tonsils so he should be out by the weekend, good luck mate though may not see this till you’re home, meh.

I’m in the Irish Times, sorta. It’s an article on the Alchemist Cafe and I’m mentioned as a friend. I leave the country and I get relegated to “Friend” I have a PDF of it will try and Lexis Nexis it so I can put text up. We’ve also been contacted by Newstalk for an interview, pretty sweet or whut?
