The Wilbury Twist

OK OK the pictures aint here yet or even Google maps but they will come. I’m in my second set of temporary accommodation. It’s a bedsit closer to the centre of the “Student Village” and a slightly shorter walk from work. It is also a lot nicer, TV with decent reception, a DVD player, a microwave, double bed and all in one room. It’s cooler a little less lonely not that I’ll be spending too much time here.

I’m off to Eire tomorrow (not home anymore 🙁 ) and I’ll return on Sunday night. Then Monday and Tuesday I’ll have to move some stuff down to Alex and Sean’s because eventually it all has to be down there by Wednesday when I have to be out of here.

We have a house picked out it is 9 Helix Gardens in Brixton. Top two floors (split in 4) of a 3 floor house, good size double rooms each, a big living room, decent kitchen and seperate bathroom and WC. Looking forward to it, can’t wait. I’ll be bringing back from Eire my DVDs and a few other pieces so I’ll soon have a place I can call home.

I’m coming home for Al‘s annual house party to celebrate his birthday. I get to hang out with Sarah and chill with Al it’ll be fun. There will be drink, geekness and general ease.

In other news I did a clothes wash this evening, socks to be exact. This is so sad but three guesses what happened, yes that is right I lost a sock. I now have (2n-1) socks where n is the number of pairs I washed. I’ve been pretty bad really with food, it’s only frozen pre cooked meals, it’s been difficult to cook properly for just one but when I get settled in the new place I’ll eat proper and bring sandwiches from. But then again sometimes they do good cooked food in the staff common room and only charge £3.10 but ya never know what they’re going to do from day to day.

Link Of The Day: Foamy This is a genius Flash webcomic. It starts slow it’s not till the 4th or 5th when it is well good. SQUIRRELY WRATH!!!!!

Later Days,
Halo.

  1. Are you sure you didn’t find a sock? Putting some random persons sock on would be a fate worse than death (especially if they had some sort of horrible infection).
